  • How do I become a member?

  • Once I have purchased a Student Membership, how do I schedule a tutoring session?

    Arch City Student Members are able to login to their account and book tutoring sessions. Student Members can select the date and time they prefer to meet with a tutor, then filter through available tutors to find one that meets their preferences.

  • How much does it cost to book a tutor?

    Each tutoring session on the website is accompanied by a $5 scheduling fee, paid online via credit card at the time of booking. At the conclusion of the tutoring appointment, your tutor will be paid directly at their own set rate.   • After I register, will I be able to cancel my membership?

    Yes! Your membership may be canceled at any time through your account’s Billing Settings.

  • How far in advance do I need to book tutoring session(s)?

    Tutoring sessions can be booked in advance, or with very short notice. Our team of tutors keeps their availability as up to date as possible so that you can book any time you need assistance!

  • Why join Arch City Tutors?

    We handle the scheduling of tutoring sessions so that it is as simple as setting your availability, accepting a tutoring request, and completing tutoring sessions and accepting the agreed-upon payment from the student.

  • Does it cost anything for me to join?

    No! As a tutor, you can join Arch City Tutors for free.

  • Can I set my own hourly rates?

    As an Arch City Tutor, you will be able to set your own rate!

  • How will I be paid?

    Students/families will directly pay you your agreed upon rate at the conclusion of each tutoring session. Many members choose to utilize Venmo or PayPal, but if a session is in-person, cash/check may be utilized as well.

  • What happens if my availability changes?

    Once you are confirmed for a tutoring appointment, you are required to complete it. That being said, tutors can manage their own availability at any time from their account to ensure scheduling is as accurate as possible.

  • What if I am no longer able to commit to tutoring with Arch City?

    No worries at all, we completely understand things come up! Your tutor account can be paused at any time. Once you’re ready to rejoin, you can re-register on our website at any time.
