Student Membership Fee - $9.99 per month
- Each student will be charged a monthly membership fee on the 1st day of every month, to the card on file. Please note that if you join Arch City Tutors after the 1st of the month, your first month’s monthly fee will be prorated, and you will be charged $9.99 on the 1st day of the following month.

Tutor Membership Fee - $5.99 per month
- Each tutor will be charged a monthly membership fee on the 1st day of every month, to the card on file. Please note that if you join Arch City Tutors after the 1st of the month, your first month’s monthly fee will be prorated, and you will be charged $5.99 on the 1st day of the following month.

Family Membership Fee - $24.99 per month
- Each family plan will be charged a monthly membership fee on the 1st day of every month, to the card on file. Please note that if you join Arch City Tutors after the 1st of the month, your first month’s monthly fee will be prorated, and you will be charged $24.99 on the 1st day of the following month.

Scheduling Fees
- A non-refundable scheduling fee is paid via credit card, on our platform, each time a student schedules a tutoring session. A tutoring session is considered to be each singular request a member submits online.
- Immediate Tutoring Scheduling Fee – $7.50 per session. Please see Immediate Tutoring for more information.
- Scheduled Tutoring Scheduling Fee – $5.00 per session. Please see Scheduled Tutoring for more information.
Cancelation Fees
- Advance Notice (i.e., 5 or more hours before the confirmed start time)– Life happens, and you may find a time when a tutoring session needs to be canceled. If this happens, it is our policy to let the student and the tutor work together to schedule a new tutoring session. If the student and tutor are unable to schedule a new tutoring session, or otherwise resolve the cancelation, we will step in. Please note, it is prohibited for students and tutors to communicate cancellations outside of our platform—doing so will result in membership and/or account termination. It is important for all cancelation communications to take place on our platform, so we can review the communications should a dispute arise between the student and the tutor.
- Last Minute Notice
- Less than 5 hours but more than 3 hours before the confirmed start time – If a student is required to cancel a tutoring session less than 5 hours, but more than 3 hours before the confirmed start time of a tutoring session, the student is required to pay the tutor ½ of the tutors agreed upon fee.
- Less than 3 hours before the confirmed start time – If a student is required to cancel a tutoring session less than 3 hours before the confirmed start time of a tutoring session, the student is required to pay the tutor ½ of the tutors agreed upon fee.
- In the event of a Last Minute Notice, ALL communications should take place on our platform so we can review the same should a dispute arise between the student and the tutor.
- Star System – Please note that at the conclusion of each tutoring session (or after the cancelation of a tutoring session) the student will receive a prompt to rate and review the tutor. Atutor’s average rating, and some of their reviews, will be displayed on their profile for students to view as they are selecting a tutor. This system allows students to assess the quality and reliability of the tutor.
Tutor Rates
- Each tutor determines their own rate and proudly displays it on their tutoring profile. By scheduling a tutoring session with a tutor, a student agrees to pay the tutor the rate set forth in their profile. After a tutoring session is completed, students pay the tutor directly via cash, check, Venmo, PayPal, or any other previously agreed upon payment method.
- The agreed upon fee is the total amount the tutor expects to receive. In other words, our students are NOT expected to tip our tutors, and our tutors are not expecting to receive a tip from our students.
Membership Agreement
- We require members to thoroughly review our membership agreement and scheduling fees, along with available services and cancellation policies, PRIOR to registration. As a small business, we are unable to provide refunds to those who are uninformed on the services we provide, and the applicable fees. After registration, students are required to manage their account, and abide by the terms of the agreement while using our platform. Membership is subject to termination at any time due to breach of the membership agreement. This includes communications with ourteam that are rude, condescending and/or having unrealistic expectations of our staff, and communicating with our tutors outside of our platform. We choose to work with students and families who are respectful, and conscientious regarding the logistics of our platform that include a large network of quality tutors and staff members.
